Default killer7

This is the thread about one of the best video games in the history of the world. I almost want to import some of Suda 51's earlier games, but then I'll realize that I don't know Japanese and won't understand what's going on... but I'll definitely get Heroes when it comes out, and Project "S" is a must-buy. (a collaboration between Suda 51 and Hideo Kojima, and it's rumored to be related to Snatcher)

Anyways, that has nothing to do with k7, so...

The best part about the Japanese version is that the ghosts, instead of speaking in garbled voices, speak in those text-to-speech voices on Macintosh computers. But they all speak in Engrish. If you listen closely in the English versions you can still hear Iwazaru say "The master. It is dangerous. It is very very dangerous." and "The waywardness is under Harman's name." and all the other Engrish everyone speaks.

Too bad it's not a PC game, ass.

Yeah, Killer7 is more or less one of the best games ever made for any platform. Enough style for a few dozen other games, and the storyline is really interesting too. It's fun just trying to figure out what everything means. I'd write more, but I'm pressed for time...

While playing the game, I hated it. It felt like a text adventure with a shooting gallery every now and then. Very slow-paced stages, annoying back-tracking. Interesting story but it had made no sense up to where I was.

Upon thinking about it, there are parts I rather liked. There's no way for me to call it even close to the best game ever though.

The only thing I don't really like about the game is that it's a one-time experience. I played the Japanese version and beat it, and then when the US version came out I couldn't bring myself to finish it because I've done it all already (I still haven't finished it... I'm at the part with the abominabe snowman thing in the funhouse at ISZK Land, I think)

quite possible the most interesting, unique game i've ever played. i also tried playing the Japanese one but all the engrish and me not understanding the menus made me wait for the US one to come out.

Loved the game. Started off slow but once I got to the Texas level, it really picked up speed. The big twist at the end makes the game. That and the scene with Pedro (hauntingly disturbing).

Hell yes, there shouldn't have been a Chapter 06, it should have just ended there. Then it would get "best video game ending EVER" award from myself

I liked the last ending. Everything comes full circle.

And I enjoyed it. Definetly one of the best reasons to own a GC.
(This game's not meant to be played on a PS2, just like RE4.)

The only other game he's done that got localized that I know of is the Samurai Champloo game. It's weird(and short), but it has its moments.

It's got a bonus stage of sorts that looks like the shadow scene from Kill Bill V.1 where either Jin or Mugen can tear through hordes of enemies one after the other. (And it has the best music in the game.)
