This is a one day only test and is the official debut of both titles in the USA, so if you're in the area, drop by to check out the latest titles from SNK Playmore JP. Both titles will be released in the USA in the near future, but for now, be the first in the US to see it for yourself.

In all likelihood given how much stuff SNK have been shoveling out lately Sony just approved all of it because with the PS3 out most public attention is on that. my guess is that after the ps3 came out they lowered their standards for the ps2 in order to keep it alive longer (since it probably would have been stupid for them to only rely on ps3 for console sales). So stuff like KOF98UM and SNK's stuff that has been out in Japan for a long time like KOF XI and NGBC were finally able to come out here, although all their newer US releases are still budget priced and I'm guessing the US release of Ultimate Match will be too.

I'll so buy this when I see it around here.
Hopefully, some copies will arrive. SNK would be stupid enough to not ship enough discs to the country that practically consumed most of its KOF98 cartridges (yes, Mexico).
By the way, this thing is already available in Asia, if I remember correctly.
