However, it does look kinda cool......though apparently, I'm not too accustomed to RPG games that much since I hate long-ass story lines (typical of any form of RPG game). At the moment, I'm weighing the pros and cons to see if it is worth it for me. Oh and the PC version has "Turbo Mode" function which looks nifty and is just like the same feature available in Devil May Cry 4 PC version
Only nasty thing is that it REQUIRES an Nvidia Geforce 8 (or similar graphics card) as well as it will not accept any single-core processors. Damn, that's steep requirements but I guess that's the price these days to get better eye-candy.
To those who have it though: what can you say about it?

Sad, because the story was okay and the battle system isn't 100% horrible... just... god... what if I want to heal, use attack magic, and physical attack with the same group? The characters have the damn abilities...

I had it for about two weeks, and I thought it was going to pick up sooner or later. Wrong.

The game takes a LONG time to learn, but by the end of my game, I knew exactly which commands I would have each turn and I was always able to heal or do what I wanted. The only ones I didn't know were the special attacks, although later on in the game, certain weapons give Weapon Arts that are basically the same thing, except the option to use them will always come up if you have the AP.
It isn't bad at all. It's just that people don't have the patience to learn it. Learning what Battle Ranks do and which characters are good to recruit, and who should be with who and what formations are good for what types of characters is extremely important. If you just try to throw some of everything into one group, you'll end up with a group specialized in nothing. It will always try to give you commands based on your amount of AP and the strongest available option that your Leaders have. If you have the AP and you have either the correct amount of healing items (along with the skills) or the correct spells, the game will ALWAYS let you heal.
The game can take up literally hundreds of hours even while using a guide. It has an obscene amount of sidequests and things to find and weapons to make and all that.
The ONLY thing in the game that I thought was unfair was the Curse status. Only a few enemies use it but when it hits, you have a random chance of dying on every turn for something like 5 turns.

Really though, I don't care that the system can be learned -- I want to issue commands. I'm the damn player -- I should be able to issue fairly direct commands.
Again, I'm not saying the WHOLE game is bad, I'm just saying that the battle system is a huge drag compared to what it could have been.

It was very difficult when I got to the Rank 6 bosses, and the final boss (The True Conqueror) almost wiped me out. But with enough healing and reviving and even a good strategy, I was barely alive when I beat him.
