What's wrong with you all, people? Didn't you play ATHENA or Psycho Soldiers before?

Besides, he and Athena are two of the reasons why I want to get into KoF, even though I'm having a crash course on the SNK layout.

As for the character list: Dont miss Mai, Glad Andy/Joe are back, will be whoring the Pscho Soilders AGAIN this time around.
Never played Athena, PS is kinda of a dull Platformer IIRC

Sagat Believer, IIRC Galactica Phantom in XII is too different (faster but less range and damage).

I'll go prostrate myself in front of the SNK God now to atone for my sins. Or slice random appendages off. One of the two.

*stops caring and goes back to play 98UM and BB* | "Leaked" is if they broke the strict-on-sale date. KoF apparently didn't have one, but had an estimated street date. Difference is, if a store/franchise breaks a SOS date, they can get fined pretty hefty per offense, plus running the risk of the publisher refusing to sell their product at each location that breaks the date (Happened to Wal-Mart).
I dunno, since I found out that the console version is pretty much the exact same thing as the arcade plus two characters and a practice mode (so basically, no single player campaign or story, no bosses, no real incentive to play solo really), I guess I'm just going to hold off until the price drop. I have no faith in online game code either. Probably just use the money for BlazBlue instead.

Honestly I would have just preferred regular lag. Supposedly it's going to be fixed in a couple days, other than that I'm enjoying it. I haven't been more amazed by 2D graphics since I first played Art of Fighting, and the gameplay is fastpaced as usual

| You aren't very exigent, right?
BTW, I was able to try that thing today (by non-legal ways on a friend's 360)... and honestly, it's KOF 2003 all over AGAIN, but with fewer characters.

It's got why too fewer characters for a "dream match", It's slower paced, they nerfed EVERYONE excluding Andy and Joe, it lacks all the extras SNK has been giving us for the last 3 or so years, and the new fighting system is overhyped. I cant beleive I payed 60 bucks for this when 10 would have download KoF98UM Online for my 360. I am such a fool.....
Best new fighter for 360/Ps3 is still BlazBlue. IMO it's better then SFIV.

This game isn't comparable to KOF2003, but to SvC Chaos :| At least KOF2003 felt more solid, its problems were caused by hardware restrictions. SvC Chaos' overall issues were caused by a total lack of debugging and testing, something that I can clearly see in XII.

Unimpressed, to say the least.
They will be releasing a patch for the PS3 version for online play on the 28th. The 360 version patch is unknown at this time.
