I never played DD but if it didn't have the fight mode in multiplayer like Mario Kart 64 did then its no good.

CTR really didn't do anything special. Even Snowboard Kids had better track design.
DD was great as long as you kept to the wackier courses. More than 16 would've been nice too.

Double Dash had a bunch of great tracks. It's just that there weren't very many of them. Luckily, I picked it up once it hit $30, so I wasn't burned to bad.
Super Circuit, though, sucked even at $15. The karts were WAY too slippery.
Also, anyone notice the surprising amount of Retro stages shown? | |
