You know why people think the wheel sucks? Because they suck with it. This has been a problem with Wii games since it came out. If someone sucks with motion controls, even if they aren't actually bad, the player calls the game garbage and refuses to believe that they could be bad at it.
Man, the fast staff ghosts in this game are ridiculous. I never would've thought to use the end of the pipe in N64 Mario Raceway as a jump. Thankfully you don't have to beat them to unlock anything. Just the normal staff ghosts, which are easy enough.

Also there's no pedal, I'm not used to pressing a button :<

That sounds wrong.

Almost as fun as the Arcade Version (Mario Kart Arcade GP 2) and the DS version

Total Tokens: 785.55 Donate Tokens | I wanted to unlock Daisy but I got Rosalina instead, but for a heavyset character she's pretty damn good. Got all the courses last night!
Decided to play instead of writing a ten page essay that's due in 12 days.
Wii wheel kicks major ass, since it feels like playing Mario Kart Arcade only this one has a better drift and accurate contro, though it does grow on you. Just don't play it on motorcycle though, unless you feel like handling a buttered snake on ice of a characer (ie, Bowser, Waluigi, Wario, etc.). Use Yoshi or a lightweight character for that.
Debut for Baby Daisy! Thoughts?

Better to use just karts and a lightweight character for that course cuz a bike is a slipperly slope of a level!
Rainbow Road on Double Dash is without a doubt he hardest of all Rainbow Roads. :/

Also, fuck Rainbow Road in the ass. It's such a cool track when you aren't CONSTANTLY FALLING OFF IT.

On a related note, is it true there a few tricks you can't do with the gamecube controller? And if so do they mean anything towards the outcome of a race. Quote:
