Seeing how the JP version had online, I could hopefully see this being online for all regions. Slightly better graphics maybe, but probably not in HD, I'd go crazy if it was in HD. :P

I'll stick w/ my PS2 version that I got for $50 used (after using coupons & my discount card. It was originally $80 used).

Anyway, the news was kind of meh to me, though I can imagine the online version being actually funnier. Since the ping and delays will prevent a lot of high-lv fags from doing their shit with Mags - Blackheart - Ironman - Storm - Cable - etc. (AKA the same boring top tier bullshit you see in arcades), it'll actually be fun to play against casuals.

I'm guessing the game is going to be around $15-$20. I kind of feel like I would buy it (when I get a PS3 or 360) if it was the Dreamcast version since it's different from the PS2/Xbox version since both didn't have that leveling up thing that the DC version had.

Though I wonder if they'll put the original on. I want to play that.

Oh, I'm sure they'll still be there but I was talking about their "lolol top tier tactiz" crap, and since game will be online and I'm pretty sure the ping will make things difficult with lotsa shit that requires strict timing (like Mags' stuff), I don't think you'll see lotsa top tier players there.
