I thought 8 was one of the easiest MM final bosses ever. 6 is the only one that's really easier.

7 is probably the hardest final.

I could never beat 8's wiley. I guess theres some way I never figured out, which is strange, because Im very good at megaman in general.
I kinda wish there were slides and charge shots though.

I actually preferred MegaMari, to the point where I bothered to finish it as opposed to MM2.

Only thing Megamari has is lotsa enemies shooting lotsa bullets. But levels are way too damned linear and it tended to be boring.

I must admit I liked the idea to implement both Marisa (lol Megaman) and Alice as playable (and switchable) characters, but that's it.

Some "footage"

By footage, I mean about 20 seconds of it.

In all the Megaman games I've played (like all of the original series and the X series) I never figured out what those things were called

They're called Metaurs. Or Mets for short.

So it's fine to change what something is based on what you like? HERESY

Yes, it is fine

I like how they're actually trying to put NEW elements in the game, and not just random recycling (unlike MM7).

Both names are apparently correct. Just call them Mets.

I got the 20th Anniversary issue of Nintendo Power today & it had some stuff about MM9 that doesn't seem to have been mentioned

- Controls are basically holding the Wiimote sideways (d-pad on left, 1 & 2 act as a & b like NES). I wonder if you can also use the Classic Controller, but it doesn't say...

- Rush WILL be in the game, along w/ some "other classic characters".

- No new mechanical devices (so I guess that means no suits)

- There MIGHT be more playable players besides Mega Man, but "that's classified". Hmmmm, that opens up some possibilities.
