Coming in late August, Metroid Prime 1-3 on one Wii disc. 1&2 will have Wii controls and achievements, along with minor graphical upgrades (a little added lighting effects here and there) and faster loading. Unlockable NES Metroid will be axed, unfortunately.

It's more to make people spend $5 for it on Virtual Console.

They should chain them all together into one long game like with Ys Book I & II. But if they want to go the traditional episodic route like with Doom or something that will work too.

Wonder if it'll be on multiple disks or just 1. I could see the 1st 2 games being on 1 disk.

They MAY be able to cram them all onto one disc (Metroid Prime 3 was around 4 or 5 gigs, IIRC).

According to news sources, yes it is one disc.

I guess it's dual-layered: One layer Corruption, the 2nd layer 1 & 2 since they were 1.5~2GB GC discs before.

Fucking epic. I can't wait...all three Metroid Prime games were amazing; Corruption had amazing controls and so hopefully they'll be able to work it so that 1 & 2 have controls that are just as good.

I'm also sure theres some texture sharing going on. Have you guys Seen a Metroid environment? Lots of it looks the same. The new textures from MP3 are probably being reutilized to help graphically boost the older games

Some previews of the Japanese Wii Play Control releases show only a few added lighting/bloom effects here and there and quicker load times on doors opening, elevators, and scanning.

Did the Euro releases of Prime 1 & 2 add some content? We'll probably have those unlockable.

Oh, and wikipedia is listing you can take snapshots in 1 & 2.

I am not sure, but EGM once stated that PAL Metroid Prime had a lot of voice acting and some extra content I don't remember right now.
