If anything Sony's "fact sheet" only confirms that I'm right for choosing to buy a Wii. Just a simple games console with no stupid addons or confusing core and premium versions.
Does anyone else just want to play videogames on their videogames consoles and leave movies and hard drives to DVD players and PC's? | |

its funny how after all the mudslinging the Wii still comes out the winner...they'd be doing themselves a favor if they just ignore it altogether...don't bring any more attention to it than it actually merits, let them fend for themself.

If they changed "Requires User to Buy" into "To get this you have to pay.." , the chart would be far from bogus. But the fact they state that you absolutley must pay for a wireless controller, a HDD, X-Box Live and the HD-DvD drive in order to use the console out of the box is pure crap. Any half-wit would know that a reputable company wouldn't sell their flagship console without the stuff necessary for operation without seriously risking sales.
I personally want to meet the guy who threw this half-assed advertising attempt together, and just kick him in the balls a few times until he realizes what an idiot he is. And that's after they get sued for it too. | |

Again, I'll say you guys are interpereting it incorrectly. By "requires you to buy" it means, if you want to use the said objects with the 360, you need to buy it for that price. From that context, sure you can get confused, but I'm sure that the author didn't mean it that way.
edit: it actually says that in an edit at the bottom.

I really dont think that Sony condoned this. I think this is just something that some retard in the advertising department came up with and it happened to slip past the company as a whole.
I COULD be wrong, but I just cant believe Sony would publish this and not expect some kind of feedback, specifically a law suit.
