Mirror's Edge - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I know this game isn't coming till the Holiday season..........but I've seen the pics and vids so far and it's looking pretty good.

Still, I can't seem to decide as to what version I'd get for this game. I'm thinking of two choices:
-PS3
This is because it will serve as the lead platform for the game (though I hate playing FPS on console controllers.......requiring me to get a USB Keyboard and Mouse)
-PC
FPS games rule on PCs and not to mention that everything is there. Downside though as I may see is that it may not be optimized so much for the PC version (unlike other EA games like Crysis which is 100% for the PC thus all optimizations are for the gaming PC in mind).

Nevertheless, it looks wicked and the environments are fresh and relaxing to the eyes (thanks to the benefits of the Unreal Engine 3). Story is also good and it looks like I'm really picking this game up.

How about you? What do you guys think of this game?

I'm not sold on it yet. It LOOKS pretty, but I'm waiting for some more gameplay footage to be released.

Also, it's not a FPS it's a FP-beatemup-action-adventure (or so it seems)

looks neat, I wouldn't buy it though personally, just not my cup o tea

Granted, if this is true, then it will be like Burnout Paradise where the PS3 served as the lead development platform.

I think it would be cool if the game had a THPS-like mode where there was this big open area and you could do tricks off of stuff and get points for it, as well as have a replay feature. That would be sweet.

But that video footage seems alittle...linear, I'm hoping that there will be a whole lot of different ways to finish levels.
