I'm definitely buying this game for PS2. This new mode revealed finally clinched it.

LMAO MOTOR KOMBAT? Holy shit, I'm sold, I need to buy this game.

Well, that mini-game won't be the only thing that may make me buy this. From what I could see, the changes and adjustments to the gameplay seem extremely fun. As long as that air kombat gets more work (it looked like crap in the first trailer of the game), the game gets a fairly decent balance (not excellent, just decent) and overall MKA becomes as playable and enjoyable as Deception, I'll get it.

Oh, and make N00b and Smoke two separate characters plz.

Will they also feature the following characters?:

-Human Smoke.
-Male Khameleon.
-Female Khameleon.

It would be pretty good to see them in this thing, too.

Oh, and I was dissapointed when I noticed Midway will use the zombie Liu Kang, instead of normal one :/

I'm pretty sure Liu Kang's alternate costume will be normal. Kind-of like most characters... as in they'll have more familiar costumes as alternates.

I'm not sure about Chameleon/Khameleon situation.

Smoke may have human/robot as different costumes. ...Maybe not.

Oh hell yes. Motor Kombat is the icing on the cake. I had planned to pick this up from the start (another chance to play as Ermac is a good thing) but this is grounds to set aside money for it today.

In all honesty, I will buy it at least for Motor Kombat. I just hope that they'd have an unlockable Blooper Reel on the Krypt for the heck of it, or another ep of "Cooking with Scorpion."

As for the mini-game, Motor Kombat, I can picture it now:

Scorpion, shouting, "GET OVER HERE!" and all of the sudden, he's @ 1st place and the car he dragged is at last place.

I guess I'm gonna start practicing with Stryker.

History mode?

I'm assuming everyone will have a specific ending that will explain the character's story and may correct any inconsistencies.

I have heard that every character now is on one side or another, evil or good... no neutrality (which may [have] add[ed] confusion in consistency?).

Apparently Blaze is selectable, though he seems to be the final fight on the ladder in this game.

Also, on the topic of blooper reels, if you remember the one from Deception, with MK Mythologies outtakes, that video actually cut some parts from the original outtakes video (can be accessed in MK Mythologies: Sub-Zero upon killing Shinnok in his second form, instead of leaving through a portal).

The last one felt lighter in character list then it should have, especially given how many characters are shown in game but aren't playable. And quite frankly, single player was a chore, and featured a pretty tepid hero voiced by a white guy doing a bad asian accent. Combined with a pretty lame ending...

The series seems to be getting really feature heavy, so I hope it at least has some solid gameplay down. The bonus features were actually really well done last time (I enjoyed the minigames a lot more then singleplayer campaign...) so I don't doubt they'll be good, but so long as the main games good, looks a lot more enjoyable.

The two characters next to the question marks are Daegon (evil) and Taven (good), the two main characters in Konquest mode. The bottom left character is Meat (who looks awesome).

It's suspected that the question marks either contain Chameleon and Khameleon, or are just random selects (althought I believe MK4 was the only "recent" MK game with an actual random select icon; most games just had you press up and start on the starting character's portrait.

New things:

The 4 locked icons are, from top left clockwise to bottom left: Daegon, Taven, Blaze, Meat (all according to the previous shot)

The Kreate A Kharacter icon was replaced with what appears to be Chameleon.

There are now two KAK icons, one blue, one red, almost definitely for one and two player.

Noticeably lacking Khameleon.

Kira has a different background for some reason, Nitara got a different (better) icon, and Hotaru has pink stuff behind him for some reason.

Sektor is the second player starting icon now instead of Sub Zero. They also have their names on the screen, and the background is changed, signifying that the background moves.
