New DS Model, more concrete rumor

Yes, rumors were abound before but it appears to be more solidified this time as it is from a respected Japanese source. Here's the list of known features:

-Built-in camera (it sounds random, but the Gameboy camera was just as random too)
-Music playback (rumor: has SD card slots)
-Improved wireless capabilities (rumor: for use at information terminals or even browsing the web)

It's hitting the game sites lately. I can see the wireless and the camera but not the pirate-magnet that is the card slot.

People are also putting this in tune with this week's Nintendo conferences. There's one on the 2nd but I heard there was another one too.

I miss the Gameboy Camera. I loved taking pictures with it and the DJ function was amazing. Let's hope that Nintendo can come up with something so that the camera isn't just an extra thing they added on because it looks cool.

Unless pictures can be taken by holding the DS like an actual camera and using the R button for the shutter, I'm not interested. It's hard enough taking pictures with my phone.

Anyways, the DS having the Printer option and the camera from long time ago would be SUCH an improvement since the newest GB consoles like the GBASP and GBA lost the ability to do that (or they just took it off). It would ALSO be cool if they added a keyboard on the bottom screen to type on the Internet.

I hope the thing will have a mini-USB port if it will also have an SD slot. I use a special USB cable to charge my DS and I would like to have one less to worry about.

This would be the perfect time to get a new DS.

Considering that it might add a camera (wonder how much memory) & a SD slot, perhaps it might be around the size of the original DS (which I'd be fine with), but still have some of the improvements of the DS Lite (better buttons, multiple brightness levels, etc.)

Actually there is (Hong Kong version I think).........but I dunno if there is an official sales channel in my country.

Anyhow, I do hope that this thing will have autovolt.

I don't wanna go around carrying a transformer when I'm in another country that has a different voltage scheme.

If they're going to use a card slot, I'm willing to bet that using it for any reason other than its intended purpose warrants a firmware hack. Such a hack will probably be possible through the slot itself when I think about it.
