I'm not really interested in this so I didn't think much about it. I don't really see the need for a new model at this point in time.

System-wise, I can't see what else they can do with it.

Assuming that it's a successor to the DS Lite, how else can they improve it (beyond its already good battery life and stuff.

I was pissed when they took out the ability to play GB-GBC games, I am going to be pissed again when this takes away the ability to play GBA games. But it fits with the whole releasing a updated system that takes away the ability to play older games (Like GBA to that....other one that folded in half that I didnt buy, like I wont buy this)

I don't really see the need for everything I own to have a damned camera as part of it. The ds lite is fine the way it is. Any smaller and I won't be able to use the things with my giant hands.

On the plus side though.

DS and DS Lite still has that feature to link with the Wii (correct?)

So I guess that's pretty much okay for me

Something I just thought of: would the new model cost the same as the Lite ($130) or would it be slightly more (perhaps $140-$150)?

I'd rather they didn't. Plus, I keep saying it doesn't make sense to remove the thing that lets you play 5 different MAIN Pokemon games.
