I can definitely see a Mother 2/3 compilation on the DS come out here as Earthbound 1+2. Honestly, I don't think Mother is really all that good.
Also, that Mother 3 in Europe thing was also a rumor. The article was written by a complete retard who didn't even know the names of the characters in Earthbound. I wouldn't trust that.
Mother 3 itself is an amazing game. Much darker than Mother 2.
Why not do a South Korean release instead. Japan is extremely xenophobic when it comes to video games. I bet Capcom had to tell the public that GTA is Scottish (or British for Stories games) and not American for it to sell. The South Koreans are much more open to American made games than the Japanese.
That would be an absolute no-brainer purchase if all three were in one package. I agree that the first Mother was kind of vanilla (by the series' standards) but I would still like to have a physcial copy and a portable version would be all the better. I still need to pick up Mother 3 so if anyone has any feedback on it, let me know.
Lets hope this one doesn't come with a bigass Strategy Guide that doesnt come with a rental and wont fit on shelves with the game.
Man, I'll buy the Euro version of Mother 3, but are there any rumors of a US release. I don't see why they wouldn't as the first game sold pretty well.
