Its (apparently) Official, I dunno what sites to trust and not to trust, but it seems this one gets used quite often.

So, my main question is......Is this just a port? I mean, the game was great, and I would gladly play it again, but if its a sequel, I am going to have to get out my copy of okami and finish it.

It was confirmed by a multitude of sites, Kotaku being one of them. Capcom confirmed it at a Press Conference in London.
