Out in Japan on April 29th. I wouldn't be surprised if this came to the US soon after. Can't wait to buy it.

It was rumored that the original was going to be on the PSP, but no word on if it was going to be a PS One Classic for download on PSN, a port, or a remake. There's now official word that it's a remake.

Believe it or not, I'm more excited for the PSP version of Growlanser 1, but I'll still get this day 1 if Atlus localizes it.

We need Growlanser more though, no doubt.

Ah, this is exciting. Is the Growlancer remake good? I hear that all the ones we have gotten were pretty bad games.

Sadly, it's not. It's a cheap piece of junk.

For a display piece, sure. For actual usage? No way.

The artbook included with Growlanser V was more appealing than anything in Generations' CE.

The Generation bonuses nice display pieces, but that's about it. Even the card deck only had one or two cards with art on them. The ring necklace was nicely done in particular.

As far as games though, II & III are amazing, and were worth the wait. V isn't bad, but nowhere near as good as II or III. Good story, mediocre gameplay.

I preferred the strategy gameplay of the older ones more(which 1 has).

I already imported IV, but I haven't played it yet. I've heard really good things.

Yes...but...I was more leaning towards Growlanser.

Keep in mind we've had a weird set of 2, 3 and 5 over here. So that's like saying there's less than a 50-50 chance for it. It'd be REAL nice if they decided to take a look at the other ones aside from 1 but...take what you can get.
