Default Other 'Paddable' Games

I tried searching but couldn't seem to find any threads here - or even anything on google. Anyone heard/seen/know of any other games that are controlled via pads OTHER than the dancing sims and similar games? (Not the old powerpad stuff, newer games...most likely all PC).

I was thinking of setting up a joy2key config to play Mortal Kombat via pads on MAME. Might be fun and interesting at a party.

Any other ideas or games people know of?

Pacman.

Okay it's a little off topic, but you can still play pacman with a pad.

Legend of Dragoon works with it, although movement is sort of hard. The combat is hella good though.

Any RPG that has a "Wait your turn" system could work with a pad.

Heheheh! (Just a thought)
Typing of the dead, on a giant keyboard.

"Damnit frank, hit the Q, the Q!"
"I'm sorry, I'm not used to these Dvorak keyboards."

Any classic RPG like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, Pokemon, etc. that require simple up/down movements (no diagonals). Since each of those games can be played with one hand, I'm sure its easy on a dancepad.

EDIT: CT has diagonals doesnt it... Goddamn... Well try it anyways, it'll just be a little harder. I recommend FF5/6.

One single word: "Blitz". I don't think that'll work well.

My friends and I used to have competitions to see who could survive the longest playing Metal Slug X on a pad.

hm... The PC version of FF7 with a USB dacepad...
Might actauly be easier then playing with the default keyboard keys (number pad). I tried playing with the number pad and quicky gave up and pluged in my PS2-style USB gamepad.

Wow....here I am thinking I'm being all original and all...hehe.

So, no games specifically made for pads I guess?

Can't wait to try some of these. Pac man is a good idea, Mr. Drillr also.
