Marketplace Rating: 0 | PKMN GBA News: Get Mew from TRU, Diamond/Pearl TRANSFER (not trade!) Details Toys R Us reps at Toys R Us stores will be giving away Mew to anyone who has a copy of Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red, or Leaf Green on Septbember 30th. Mark down that date! It's the very last day of September on a Saturday.
And to get your GBA team on Diamond/Pearl, you simply pop in your GBA cartridge into your DS. Of course, details began to be iffy at this point: It seems like the Pokémon are transferred (dunno if they're copied), you must be at a certain point in the game to even transfer, and you have a limit as to how many Pokémon you can transfer (6 a day, oh no! I CANNOT SOMEHOW CHANGE THE CLOCK OR SOMETHING SO OBVIOUS! ).

I wonder if I can bring in all 5 of my games >_>
I heard about the 6 a day thing. I was hoping for like, all of your boxes at once. Even with changing a clock, getting all that transfered will be a hassle.

Perhaps after you beat the Elite Four you have the option to transfer up to 6 Pokemon, but once you complete a certain side mission (like the ones in FR/LG) you may be able to freely transfer your Pokemon over, with the obvious limitations of new moves/Pokemon not being able to go to Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FR/LG.
At least that's what I'm hoping, lol.
In any event, I know I'm taking at least a couple of my games up there. One's sort of been tainted by a Gameshark though, so the event may not work. I can keep my fingers crossed though!

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Well, I'm guessing you won't be able to transfer any pokemon until you beat the elite four. You could easily plow through the game like that (as if you couldn't normally, haha) and I'm sure Nintendo won't want that. It's been similar in other games, as well.

And to milk money from the players

I'll hopefully find someone kind enough to trade over WiFi when D/P comes out. Anyone want a shiny Oddish/Whismur?

Guys, it's easy to catch legendaries:
Get a Wobbuffet about 1-3 levels above the legendaries'.
Remove all PP from its moves.
Keep using Struggle and heal as needed.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Update on Mew trade:
The process set-up is incredibly stupid. =\
Firstly, there is a big exception to point out: If you own Pokémon Emerald, you MUST beat the game and have the Nationaldex in posession. Fucking stupid, really.
Otherwise, you MUST have a Pokémon in your party you're willing to trade. Don't freak out: you just need to have any old Pokémon so just go back to Pallet or wherever and just toss an Ultra Ball on the next thing you encounter.
Then, for process speed-up, please make sure you are in the 2nd Floor of a Pokémon Center (basically where you trade, fight, etc.) and the Pokémon you're willing to trade is in your party.
(In reality, you're supposed to have a Pokédex in the first place for Ru/Sa/FR/LG.)
Trading times are from Noon to 3PM.
