It's a much less hindering version of rare candy leveling.

that's why you level them up in the gba games before you migrate them.

But either way the hinderance in stat boosting by leveling them this way is very insignificant compared to rare candies.

rare candies do not effect a pokemons stats at all. It is completely ok to use them once EV's are maxed.

I just noticed a slight flaw in the system.

How are we doing things as far as level caps are concerned. I doubt anyone here has the time to Lv. 100 an entire party. Rare Candies are a tourneyfag's way out and E4 spamming takes too long. Somewhere between Lv. 50-70 seems fair.

Also outside of the battle tower there is no auto level system to even things out.....I think.
