Legendaries are fine, it's saying that it'll be 6v6 single battle and then changing it to 4v4 double battle after teams are locked that pissed me off.
gg GameSpot employees for making half my team useless, we all got cleaned by some guy with RSE Ubers spamming one hit KOs. I've heard pretty embarassing GS stories but when you lose your Specs Dialga and both Mewtwos to fissure or sheer cold it's pretty embarassing
There was a mailer included with the prizes that had a set of rules. And one of those rules said no Legendaries.
The Gamestop I went to allowed it. This is breaking the rules. And I have a right to complain. I went in there knowingly assuming that they wouldn't be allowed since they were overkill but not only did I see the Legendaries being used but also not part of the rules.
...there was a tournament that said Ubers were OK?
What kind of tournament is that?
(I still think we should have ourselves a fair and square tourney up in this house... all Battle Tower styled and crap. I love 3v3.)
It wasn't really a tournament, just a way for Nintendo to expose PBR to people who would ordinarily never consider buying it. I suppose it worked, since 3 people at the GS here bought copies of PBR after the tournament... $100 profit for GS/Nintendo, yay?
On the topic of bullshit fighting, I've been wondering: Has anyone been battling online and the other person disconnects because you're just absolutely destroying them? I'm pretty sure this happened to me today (I KOed two of his pokemon with what I use to set up) and then it just disconnected. Got a good laugh out of that one.
Also, is there going to be a Bemanistyle/FB tournament? I've been gone for a while without computer access and haven't kept up with what's going on in here.
