Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

I just saw some vids and this verasion proves not to dissapoint . Its supposedly coming stateside April 22 . Any way what pokemon game was your favorite.

Mine was silver because you fought Red the ''Omega '' trainer.

GameStop is predicting to have it in on the 23rd. Just to prevent some people from getting an ulcer on the 22nd.

Much as I dislike admitting it, I'm going to get Diamond. Yeah, I am. Plot line sucks, we know, graphics aren't anything special, but the RPG elements in the game look to be quite superior.

I don't think you can pick a favorite game. They're all pretty much the same thing. Just newer games have more stuff. That, and I haven't gotten anything after Silver.

My favorite was probably the Red version. Only because there are so many cheats, hacks, and overall errors within the game that it was fun screwing with all of them.

I'm going to pick up one of them... I'm not really sure which one, I guess I'll decide when time comes to pick it up :/ Diamond sounds like a better name than Pearl to me, so I'll probably go with that, it'll be a refreshing change, I haven't played Pokemon since Silver.

I don't want it at all, but I'm probably getting it anyway. Not sure why, but I just feel like I should. Shinys better be less impossble to find this time around.

Personally I liked the original remakes that nintendo did (Fire Red/Leaf Green) because they had the same elements that alot of us grew up on, with snazzy new graphics and all the new content from the other games. and yes, I will get a Diamond version

I don't think the odds of finding a shiny pokemon have been made any easier in D/P. I have the Japanese version, and I've been playing for about 50 hours now, haven't encountered a single shiny. I could just have bad luck with that sort of thing, though.

Ug. Well, I might as well tell my story that I love to tell so much.

I kinda dropped out of Pokemon after G/S, but I probably logged over 200 hours on those, as well as 80+ hours on Fire Red. In that entire time I saw ONE shiny Pokemon. It was a lv.8-13 (something really low) Geodude, in one of the early caves in Gold or Silver. The only Pokemon I had on me were in the lv.50 range, and a lv.12 Spinarak, with Poison Sting. Since I didn't have any other usable attacks, I just kept hitting him with poison sting, which did almost no damage, but poisoned him. He got down to low HP, I threw an ultraball, he broke out, and then fainted. Woo.

I'm probably getting Diamond too. No Pearl love here I see, lol.

My favorite game was Silver as well, simply because I had about 3 shiny Pokemon on it (Ditto, Crobat, and Tauros) and because I had transfered my completed Red version over there and had nearly all the Pokedex completed (I was like, 10 short. Go laziness). You also could revisit Kanto and battle those Gym Leaders as well. Night and Day events, Radio stations, cell phones, it had so many new things to offer. I wasn't too into the R/S/E series but I did like how they remade the originals. I'd love to see remakes of Gold and Silver!

But yeah, this game's looking to be pretty sweet. And this time you don't have to capture the Pokemon in order to complete your Pokedex (I think). You just have to have seen it in a battle. Considering there's over 500 of them now, that's kind of nice...

I know I shouldn't be asking this but does anyone here that works at a gamestop or something know if you get something for putting money down on Diamond and Pearl.P.S I might get Both ^_^V
