Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

Deserves its own topic, but no one has made it. Also, spoilers I guess for the links, as they contain images and information on the games.

Well, it's out in Japan, and has apparently sold extremely well there, obviously. I've heard between 500,000 and 2 million copies, but I don't have links to any of that.

I do, however, have links showing most of the pokemon:

Although much is still being discovered, a lot has already been found out.

Notable things:

-Apparently, there is a "god" pokemon, with 720 base stats (120 in each). It's normal too, which means its movepool should be amazing. However, it could have an ability that hinders it, but it'll probably be intimidate or something. .-.
-There have been many 1st and 2nd gen pokes that have obtained new evolutions, such as: Electabuzz, Magmar, PORYGON FREAKING 2, Rhydon, Magneton (lol ufo), Tangela, Sneasel, Gligar, Piloswine, Aipom, Yanma, Lickitung, Togetic, Murkrow and Misdreavus.
-Two new Eeveelutions: Grass and Ice.
-Legendary Trio all Psychic.
-Kirlia supposedly has a male evolution that has a boosted attack. Other 3rd gen evos include Roselia (who also gets a pre-evo), Nosepass, Dusclops (not confirmed).
-6 or 7 baby pokemon for: Chansey, Mr. Mime, Sudowoodo, Roselia, Snorlax, Mantine, Chimecho (not confirmed).
-Pokemon #422 and #423 have a different color (either pink or blue) depending on where you catch them (east or west Shinou).
-PORYGONZ HOLY SHIT

holy crap, this might be the best thing that happened to the series since Gold/Silver/Crystal.
plus the evolutions for the overlooked 1st/2nd series pokemon was something that i was hoping for for a long ass time.

Porygon has always been my fav so Porygon 3 sounds godly amazing!!

I heard that it was coming out stateside sometime in 2007, but I don't remember specifically when (spring?). As for me, I'm really impatient with stuff like this, so I'm ordering it now. Now is the problem of deciding on what to start with...

I'm getting Diamond and Diaruga (if I got that right) is looking nice!
I agree that there were absolutly loads of Pokemon from 1st and 2nd gen that needed new evolutions. I'm glad we will finally see some.

A grass evolution for Eevee I have been expecting for ages with the leaf stone and all, but now would you evolve Eevee into an ice type? There is no ice stone as far as I'm aware. Trade holding the nevermeltice perhaps?

They'll probably make an 'Ice Stone' or something to suit the occasion.
