i dunno about the specifics on the system itself, but if it's able to produce some visuals just like the MGS4 trailer then it really shouldn't be bad. i thought that ripping off the Wii motion sensor on the controller was kinda weak after people started hating the boomerang controller, but i didn't think the boomerang controller was gonna be a finalized one.

it's 512mb actually.

it uses 256 for something and 256 for something else. I forgot what the 256 do actually, but I',m to lazy to go look for it.

Sony really really went about the PS3 badly. I still have hope however that it will turn out to be a nice system. People need to stop getting all bitchy about it if it's supposed to be "the worst thing ever."

I agree with this. In a way it seems Sony has done evreything possible to make the PS3 not look like a worthwhile system. Yet, I feel that they can still pull through if the game selction and varitey is as good as it was as the last preivous generations.


@DDR allstars. Obivously, you didn;t see one ounce of this year's E3 coverage. Sony had playable games on the floor.

Does SCEI still have problems with the manufacting of the CELL Chip? Last time I read about it, 60% of the test production didn't pass the minimal standards of quality.

And also, I heard SCEI had problems with the cooling system. I bet we'll probably see another cute GIANT A/C Adapter, like X360's.


Not wanting to feed the PS3 hate more, but... damn, if the system is supposed to be released this year, shouldn't these problems already be solved?

I might buy it. If it goes down in price of course and with everyone saying that it's horrible in price. It most definately will try too. I can buy a Wii and a 360 for the same exact price.

Yeah, something I would like to ask though:
PS3: $600
Blu-Ray Disc player: $1000

How does this work? It uses the same disc format, plus with everything else, and is still 40% cheaper...wtf?!

But the games look sweet...I just want to know what the deal is with FFXIII, looks a little too difficult to control.
