Question about System 246 Hardware

What does it need to run?

I understand it needs a memory card but does it have any security cards?

Yeah, a quick google tells me it's an arcade board based off of PS2 technology. It's actually kinda old, 2001 I believe.
I dunno too much about arcade cabs, but from what I dug up there are security cards. You'd probably want a more in depth answer from someone with a better idea about arcade stuff.

Well, Tekken 4 was released on that board :P So it's not that new.

I was told that the memory card slots serve as the security plugs on the 246, don't quote me on that though (heard it from my former manager when I used to work for Namco arcade).

Just out of curiosity, why do you need to know?

Ebay auction for one and it said it doesn't come with anything.

I was gonna but it in a future arcade cabinet of mine but doesn't matter now, I was out bid at the last moment.
