Default Questions about PS3 and RE Outbreak File #2

Okay, so RE Outbreak File #2 has good bckwords compatibility, as I haven't had any problems. Well, except for 1

Is there no backwords compatibility support for the internal HDD? There is a feature that RE:Outbreak and File #2 can save about a gig worth of data on an HDD so that instead of streaming data from the DVD and having long loading times, it would stream from the internal HDD and cut it down to a fraction of the time (It would still spool sounds from the DVD, however.)

Also, I heard that no one really goes online for Outbreak and File #2, is this true? I'm going to start playing it online in like maybe a week or two, and I don't want to be the only person in the lounge :/

Currently there is no support for the HDD. Apperently they are working on a firmware patch so it will be possible for games like FF11. Keep in mind this is Sony and most likely will never happen. I'm still pissed over the lack of HDD support for ps2.

Someone else can probably anwser that better than I can. I don't own the game, but given only a handful of ps2 titles even have players online...

Oh, it turns out that 1.32 Fireware that was released supports HDD workings for FX11, and sony has screens up there to prove it, but there is till that "HDD problem" when I look up RE:Outbreak and File #2

Also, there seems to be a problem with creating new logins for PS3 owners, but I heard there is a work around or something

Ah really? Out already? I don't suppose they are going to work to much more on HDD support for other games, considering... what only a handful of games use it?

Worth a shot to try and install it anyway. Perhaps they just didn't update that database.
