But it comes with the game and dual shock 3 controller. Its a good deal, and lets face it, you can just put in another hard drive.

When someone gets this, please check this:

-How does FPS mode work? Probably the thing I want to check the most.
-How does camera work? Does it work like in Subsistence or more like in the Splinter Cell series?
-Can you try to see if combat moves and all that stuff is way more complex than before? The fact that Snake's (and Raiden's without the sword) moves to fight enemies (not using weapons) have been practically THE SAME through the Solid series make me go ":/".
-Does Meryl's hair look like... well, FREAKIN' HAIR and not a red helmet?
-Do cinemas have less (or nothing) of that ANNOYING blur effect?

as far as I know the FPS mode is just a camera angle, it's just like intrusion mode in MGS3 but you don't have to hold down a button (I presume it will be a toggle) and you will have full control over snake, like in an FPS...

Isn't the 80GB MSG4 model only the game and not the LE items??
The only selling point of the 40GB one is the paint job and the LE items

so all these questions about stuff like controls, im assuming no one but me played the beta for MGO.

well, 1st person is an option, just like in all the other games.
I used the 3rd person aim mode, so i could headshot with ease... which helps alot believe me... Lock on kinda blowes.

Most of you will probably complain that the controls suck because they are different...
for example, you must hold L1, then press R1 to shoot.
yes R1 is the shoot button. Square changes lock on to 3rd person aim mode.

It's weird for the first like 2 hours...
but you get very used to it.
