Marketplace Rating: 1 | Rez Making the Every Extend thread reminded me of Rez. So, there's this thread now.
It's been rereleased, so it's actually possible to find now! Check those "used" copies at your local GameStop, they're probably brand new. A great shooting game with great music. Rock Is Sponge FTW

For anyone import-capable who doesn't want to drop $40 on a GameStop copy, Play-Asia has it for the very reasonable price displayed here.

For some reason, "Rock is Sponge" is the level that causes me the biggest problems trying to beat it... though it doesn't really matter because it's the best track of ALL the game IMO.
BTW, guys, does anyone here know where I can order the Dreamcast version? Yes, I'm a masochist, I want to spend a lot of money in this game (it's totally worth it) and I don't have a Playstation 2.

Best track in the game. Joujouka's CDs aren't half bad, but nothing as good as RiS.

Take your pick. All of those were made by companies in large cooperation of Sega.

Marketplace Rating: 3 | I really think Rez isn't as amazing as everyone says it is. Yes, the soundtrack was absolutely awesome and I love Adam Freeland now, but that was really it. The on-tracks shooters never appealed to me all that much. The visuals were cool but not mind-boggoling. Adding the little Trance Vibrator accessory was hilariously strange though. Put that behind your back while you play, it's silly-cool. But yeah, Rex wasn't Sega's greatest achievement ever or anything like that. A cool game with good music.

Haha, I loved how in the last stage everything started to look solid and less like computers. The beginning of the world.
It was really neat. And did anybody ever earn baby buddha god status without using the cheat code?

They basically said "put it wherever" So of course, people did indeed put it "wherever"

Marketplace Rating: 3 | Hah, yeah, that article about the girl using it as a vibrator in that sense of the word. I just thought it was fun putting it right behind my back because it'd make your whole torso thump. That thing was pretty powerful for a $15 USB-powered device.

but REZ is definately its own category of trippy and fun gaming. There should be more like it, and its got really excellent replay as the theme can change when you unlock the Assault mode
