Marketplace Rating: 5 | I even played the Wii version of MS Anthology and loved it.
Anyway, I thought this was actually announced a long time ago but it was never given any sort of release date, just the intention of US release. Good to see it's official now though.

So that means you can't use the Hori GC pad or an arcade stick with digital controls.

On that topic, let me say that the Sega Saturn controller is the best controller for any kind of retro game. A few years ago Capcom released Saturn-style PS2 controllers to celebrate Street Fighter's 15th anniversary. My brother picked up a pair for $5 a piece. The place we bought it from had no idea what they had.

The PS2 version fixed most of these problems. | Call me a purist too, but I agree, they did a very sloppy job on MSA. For those reasons and what Vic Viper said about no digital controls on the wii version. There just wasn't a good control option. And analog sticks are not the same as arcade sticks. The PS2 version did fix some of these problems, but that damn button lag on the ps2 version made the games unplayable in my opinion.
Back on topic about SS Anthology:
I already have japanese ps2 port of Tenka.., so I am more excited about V / Zero Special being on the collection, which I was unaware of until just now. I remember this collection being announced a while ago, but that game wasn't included then. So my two questions are 1 - will the games play well? with the exception of MSA, SNK's other neo geo collections and individual ports have been very good, so hopefully. and 2 - are they all going to be uncensored? SNK has been retarded in the past about censoring these games and they seemed to have no pattern as to when / what games they do it to.
But hopefully this collection turns out good. SNK has quite a few good games coming up. SS Anthology, KOF 98 ultimate match looks cool, the Arcade Classics disc - about time they put out one of those, and I really can't wait for KOF XII. Hopefully an arcade even remotely near me gets it, but I have a feeling I'll have to wait for a console port.

I have a feeling I might get an MK vibe when the announcer announces "Fatality!!!", for every "Zetsumei Ougi" you do on someone. Or he might just say "Death Blow!!!".

The original AES release of V Special had the fatalities taken out (which was later recalled and fixed). Tenkaichi Kenkakuden had no blood in both the arcade and ps2 versions.
