Wow I just beat the game and it really was fucking amazing. Playing through on Evil now.

I thought the demo was pretty bad with the missions being pretty stupid, the "evil/good" thing being really stupid and the powers making absolutely no sense given that he's using lightning and that guy over there is standing right next to a fence and apparently that means he can't be hit. By LIGHTNING.

The way the character stands is even retardedly bad. And apparently every enemy in the city knows exactly who you are and will shoot at you on sight. Although maybe it's because he's the only guy in the city who stands like a retard.

Well I guess in terms of the fence, if you shoot the fence, the metal of the fence absorbs it as you see the entire fence getting electrified. The evil/good thing is just more interesting, if you didn't have the option to take all the food for yourself then it would be boring that you would only be a hero. How are the powers retarded? I honestly don't get that one. And with the way he stands, after he's been moving sure he kinda crouches over for a few seconds but then stands normally. Every enemy knows who you are probably because you're the only guy jumping on buildings, walking on telephone wires, shooting electricity everywhere. Plus the fact that in the beginning of the game, your face is on every TV because people think you're the terrorist that started the explosion. Plus later in the game you can choose to be on posters all around the town.

I watched my friend play it for a bit and it looked pretty fun. I think I'd like to play it but I'm not going to run out and buy it. The powers didn't look "retarded" at all to me, and the good & evil choices give the game a bit more of a human element.

Well, I didn't watch the opening and it's still pretty dumb that I can just be walking around on the ground doing nothing out of the ordinary and 40 guys on the tops of every surrounding building open fire on me when I've done absolutely nothing that would arouse any sort of suspicion.

The powers are retarded because he's firing balls of lightning at enemies. Just fire regular lightning bolts at people and just chain lightning them. You know, like he does to every power line when you absorb energy. And the floating power coming out of his hands is really dumb because it wouldn't just come out of his hands. And if he had enough power to slowly float, he'd also have the power to fly around at will, which still doesn't make sense because that's not what electricity does. Power over electricity is not power over electromagnetism. And that electrified fence doesn't hurt the enemy if the enemy is touching it. That is what is really dumb on that one. And being in control of lightning wouldn't mean you could slide down goddamn power lines. Electricity doesn't push you along like that and if it did, it'd move a billion times faster than it makes him go in-game. Walking along them without getting hurt because it's electric, fine. Being pushed at an accelerating rate? No. And he'd still have to be able to balance himself. It's not like electricity is going to hold him to it. And it's even dumber that he has all of this control over electricity/lightning/whatever but if I run up to punch some guy, he can actually outrun me by just stepping backwards away from my punch. I'M MADE OF LIGHTNING.

So basically, the powers are just unbelievably inconsistent and the whole standing pose that he has lasts way too long. Just seeing him crouch on top of the train (oh my god having to jump down to charge that thing every goddamn 10 feet is really dumb) just looks extremely stupid.

Oh, and the whole grabbing onto things automatically thing is really really annoying.

Yeah, but I always end up loving everything and being super positive. I think I'm allowed to hate something once in a while

And I'm a goddamn comic book nerd, I'm entitled to nitpick over super powers and poses
