Default Shadow Complex (why was there no thread about this?!)

This game rules. I already beat it but now I'm going through the map to get all the gold bars and passkeys so I can get the special weapons and that fucking helmet for the armor.

Anyone else playing this amazing piece of sex?

Is there a reason you don't have a 360 other than that you DO have a PS3? As long as you're working, you could always save for one five or ten bucks at a time. It'd take a long-ass time, but still...

Ditto. Looked nice for a Super Metroid-esque deal in everything I've read and heard about it.

Only a PS3 and a quad-core here. Doubt I'll get a 360.

There's absolutely no reason for me to get a 360. It wouldn't be worth spending that much money to play 2 or 3 games.

I heard a bunch of people are boycotting this game just because Orson Scott Card was involved in its production. From what I hear, they believe that buying this game means that they support extreme right wing views or whatever. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

I would consider Orson Scott Card's involvement to be a good thing. You ever read Ender's Game or Speaker for the Dead?

This may vary from person-to-person and is subjective. Though for me, the 360 is on the back of my list. I say that cause only Gears of War 1 & 2, Forza 3 and probably Perfect Dark Zero (just because the name is cool) appeal to me.

Whereas for the PS3, I'd say Ridge Racer 7, Gran Turismo games for the PS3, MGS 4, Wipeout HD PS3, SOCOM PS3 and others. And thus for the Wii, well basically all the Nintendo in-house games and first-party titles.

(Btw, I'm talking about exclusive game titles for the respective platforms)

Granted, the Elite is an attractive buy (esp. after they've dropped the price) but atm, it's a lower priority. Hence for me, my priority is really PS3 then Wii (possibly in black color) then X360 when they drop price again.

Though PS3 comes first for me and the one I'm getting this year.

Anyhow:
I've been reading up the reviews for this ever since it was released on XBL arcade (and heck it hasn't been a month yet since release). It looks surprisingly good and yup the reviews show it (even to the point where some have claimed this to be the best XBLA in existence).

Oh and don't mind the issue regarding Orson Scott Card on homosexuality (because this game doesn't even have any to begin with lolz :P)

No, I haven't. I hear they're very good reads, but that doesn't influence my decision to buy this or not.

Considering the fact that there is nothing in the game dealing with right-wing fundamentalist conservatism, the people who are bitching about OSC's involvement in the game are just bitching to bitch.

Doesn't buying anything from Microsoft support right-wing capitalism? Haters gonna hate.

And buying Mac products supports left-wing radicals I guess.

I fully intend to pick up this game as soon as I pick up some Microsoft Points. I want this and Splosion Man.

Buying Mac products supports Communist beret manufacturers.
