So I bought MvC2 for the 360 and now I'm learning the game

This shit is wrist-slicingly hard.

The pace is way too fast and makes execution very difficult, there's so much going on at one any given time with the millions of projectiles in this game, and there's 0 useful overheads other than incredibly obvious air attacks for the majority of the cast. Still really fun though, not gonna lie.

Anyone else getting or have it? I'm completely new to the series though I've watched match videos for a long time. It's fun reading scrubs whine on gamefaqs about how incredibly hard they get owned in online play.

It's even better when they whine about how they got destroyed by a team of something like Shuma Gorath, Silver Samurai and Thanos.

My favorite was someone getting told that they're cheap and should play a character that requires skill after killing his whole team with rogue.

To everyone who plays this game: SHUT UP ABOUT HOW BROKEN THE CHARACTERS ARE. We get it. We were talking about it ten years ago, and we've gotten over it since then.

I personally like to scrub floors using Cyclops. I know he ain't mindnumbingly difficult to use, but, come on. Cyclo Kick! Cyclo Kick! GENE SPLICE!

Jill earns you extra points, but Cable takes them right back away. :C

Hyper Viper is pretty freaking unfair at times, especially when people just spamzone. A patient Cable player will simply Viper about for an hour and try to kill you with chip damage alone. LUCKILY, if you can get in deep on Cable you can bash his face in, as he isn't THAT fast.

But seriously man, Jill. Good stuff. I have a friend that uses her almost exclusively and rushes people right down. Psylocke too. It's obvious you don't really have a theme other than "beat the crap out of my opponents."

Speaking of teams: I like to use Cyclops/Wolverine (Bone Claw)/Psylocke. I will often throw Ken in there somewhere for laughs, sometimes Ryu. Occasionally other crazies sneak in (Morrigan, Storm, Magneto, Sentinel, Shuma-Gorath, and that silly cactus guy whose name I can't remember...).

But...
When I get really bored I play Servbot/Roll/Rockman, just to see how far I can get. I've even beaten people with that before. It just takes about ten supers to kill someone off.

Don't get me wrong, I can do fine without Cable (usually sub in Cammy, Sakura, or Cap. America), but online I get annoyed with the 234923084 people abusing assists and wasting time in the matches (esp. with Juggernaut, WTF, it's like they don't expect people to expect his big @$$ to get called out every 5 seconds?).

Thus, I sideline Cable but use him only to kill assists if the opponent's really damn annoying (and my Jill/Psylocke rushdown doesn't work quite as well).

Regardless, even without Cable I'm finding OCV'ing with Jill is kind of easy with like 50% of the matches I've played online. Maybe I'm just playing the wrong people?

My fun team is usually Zangief/Cap. America/Morrigan (or Sakura); delayed 3-person HC, if the SAB connects, does some great damage and fun to watch =)

Plus Zangief is always fun, especially again Rockman players that don't know anything except jump-HP stand-HP alllll day long.
