I think Twisted Metal 2's soundtrack made the game that much more enjoyable. Another game that had an awesome soundtrack was Medal of Honor: European Assault! I liked the mood the theme set up for me as well as some of the other music in the game like.

Gradius V (holy shit that game over music)
Silent Hill
Duck Tales
Loco Roco (1st stage theme)
Earthworm Jim (buttville)
Doom
Gradius V has an amazing Soundtrack, but Gradius Gaiden's and Salamander 2's crush it. Especially now that I've started discovering some of the long lost discs of Music that Konami released with some of this stuff redone on different hardware.

Why not do a South Korean release instead. Japan is extremely xenophobic when it comes to video games. I bet Capcom had to tell the public that GTA is Scottish (or British for Stories games) and not American for it to sell. The South Koreans are much more open to American made games than the Japanese.
GTA Vice City (not original music, but oh my the selection.
Indeed. Gotta love 'em 80's music (esp. the MJ songs and "Shame" by Evelyn King). Truly the perfect music to go with while you are running over Haitian mob gangsters.
