Anyway, anyone complaining about having to open Steam to launch their games has obviously never noticed that you can make Steam shortcuts that just open, update, and play whatever you want, even if it's a third party bit of software like Gmod. It's really not that big of a deal. It does what it's supposed to, I'd rather the main functions work properly than just the extra stuff.
