Jesus Christ. This game looks amazing and the hardware required isn't premium.
My current system:
2.16 ghz Conroe Core 2 Duo
4gb ram (DDR2 533, low latency due to underclocked DDR800)
Single SATA300 160gb drive
Radeon HD 4830 with 512 meg onboard
I see very little people having any problems running this game. I turned to what I consider entry level settings for this computer. High texture and model, high particles, no motion bluring (gives me a headache) all at the glorious native resolution of my 1080p monitor.
60 FPS solid. 60 FPS average.
This made me say Wait. So I turned everything up another step and my system continued to chew up and spit out.
I proceeded to up everything. 20fps. that's more like it. Crush my computer!
However, settings that look awesome are not hard to obtain, and nobody with half decent hardware should have ANY problem running this game.

Rank: A (lol?)
Score: 10586
Average: 68.17FPS (@75Hz)
Score2: 10889
Average: 74.78FPS (@75Hz full-screen 1280x1024)
Windows XP Professional SP3
AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core Processor
2GB OCZ DDR2-800
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+, 1GB GDDR3
Ran at 1280x768 Windowed. Normal settings.
It doesn't run at max speed fluidly but, unless you're checking on it in real time, you'd not notice.
EDIT: Tried it with max settings. Score is noticeably lower but visuals aren't.
Rank: A
Score: 7728
Average: 74.60 (@75Hz)
Ran with 16x Filtering and C16xQ Anti-Aliasing. Changed res to 1280x1024 (higher than the last by width). That GeForce can keep up.
| VSync was enabled during the run. Hard drive that was running this is SATAII @ 500GB, Seagate. (do have others, all Seagate).
Also messed around to where it was at lowest settings and got it to go all the way up to about 42000 and ~320FPS for a score. lulz

Stereo 3D additions as well...which I've really not got the ability to mess around with (and no 120Hz monitor).

I had a RADEON, though, before my dual-core exploded in a light show visible from my seat.
