I got this game within the last year. I had always thought there was a GBA port of the game, but I never saw it at game shops and whenever I asked I always got funny looks, so I figured I was wrong, lol. Then one of my friends and I started playing the arcade version and he found the GBA version on Amazon.com. Not only was I happy to know that the game was not a figment of my imagination, but I could also play it on the go!
It took me awhile to unlock all the stuff in Street Mode, but now I've got it all unlocked. Akuma was a bitch to unlock for me, but for some reason Devilot wasn't too tough, lol.
I'm usually Ken, and my friend usually plays as Donovan. Sometimes, just to be evil, I'll play as Akuma instead (he doesn't have him unlocked yet) but I usually don't because I don't know how to choose him on the arcade. If you can, does anyone know how?
My strategy usually involves having a medium-sized gem and a stream connecting it. I'll usually have 3 2x2 and a 3x2 gem all connected, that way there's several spots for a gem to touch. And of course, thinking ahead with the other colors helps too. I usually use gems to eliminate a lesser color, since it doesn't seem to do as much damage as a normal gemshot does, unless I'm trying to quickly bury my opponent's attack.
