Supreme Commander (Fileplanet Beta)

For those of you not in the know, Supreme Commander is the spiritual successor to the 1997 RTS, Total Annhilation. If you didn't know about TA previously, for shame. It's just about the best RTS in existance. Some of the positive aspects of the game were its incredible detail to physics, and following those rules. One can only imagine what they can do in 2006. I'm currently installing it and I will give you an update on how awesome it is once I play it.

EDIT: Let it be known that it's only available to Fileplanet subscribers.

I dropped 6.95 on a 1-month FilePlanet account to check out the beta, got my key, spent 5 hours downloading the game and installed it only to find out that my campus internet connection is denying access to their online servers.

This is abhorable. I want to play, damnit!

That being said, I've heard a lot of complaints about the interface and other issues such as mouse scrolling and other mobility issues. I hope they get to fixing those problems before the commercial release. I am pumped for SupCom.

They already released a patch, and also, some people found a way to edit the hex of lua.scd to unlock skirmish mode.
