Default TimeCrisis 4?!?!

Quote:
The Time Crisis series continues to evolve, with the introduction of the VR view system. Players are no longer on the set path(rail system). Players can now forge their own path, opening new tactics and pathways.

While in the heat of battle players will notice arrows appearing on the screen to the left or right. If the player chooses, they can point the gun in one of those directions to view or move in that direction. This allows players to get the drop on approaching enemies or move to a better tactical position for shooting.

This version also supports the weapon change system introduced in part 3. Where if player is hiding for cover they can change guns(ammo premitting) to something with more firepower (e.g shotgun) or fast firing speed (e.g machine gun). There are even sniper rifle and mounted machine gun scenes in the game.
Oh shit, SNIPER rifle?

This is gonna pwn.

Yeah, I'm glad they're doing more sniper rifle stuff. The snipe sequences in TC3 home version were pretty cool. I guess the TC4 ones will probably be just like that or pretty close. I'm a huge fan of Time Crisis, so all I can do is pray that one of the arcades around here will grab it. I don't see why not. Time Crisis is one of those big moneymakers here because people will still play it whether they're good or not.

*will be disappointed if the dialogue at the end of the scene isn't "Take him down with one Shoot" like it was in Silent Scope 3*

It's Time Crisis3 + Time Crisis: Project Titan = Time Crisis 4

I don't see how a sniper rifle is any good, considering the number of enemies that appear :< But if it were for a single boss, that would be badass. And mounted gun's for the win.

I had a thread on this back on 6.0

They had a location test back in Febuary, I think.

Ask Baka about it because he played it.

A group of retarded looking monsters will appear and you will take turns hitting each other. When it is all over you will get 648 Gil and a fire ring. Why the 12 foot tall monster with no hands had a fire ring that fits everyone from you to your grandma will still be mystery to man.

Sniper mode in TimeCrisis3 wasn't that shabby. Too bad it ain't the same as Silent Scope. That sniper-game rocks!

From what I gather; you use the rifle only in designated missions; per se against a boss?

That's what the screenies look like.

And how badass would it be if they redid TC 2 maps? They were bangin.

Yes, you can only use the sniper rifle gun in the special mission mode. Do you remember that part in TC3 where the brother of that blond girl was captured in TC3?
In the sniper story mode, you play as that blond girl. You need to snipe the gun from the boss's hand in order to save him from being executed.
Time Crisis 2 > Time Crisis 3. The ability to use different guns IMO made the TC3 sucks. Rapes the original TC-concept. 1 handgun + 1 hero (single play) 2 heroes (multi-play) = Time Crisis.

I played the Beta when the Cyberstation close by had it. Basically it was kinda like the home version of TC3, where there were only certain segments where the sniper rifle would be used. Then again it only had 2 playable stages so there could be more in the final release.

I wonder if it's going to be very long. Time Crisis 3 wasn't very long at all, and I've owned the home version.

There have been reports of the first Time Crisis 4 machine being located in an arcade about a 10 min drive from my home.

I'll go check it out later today and let you guys know.

Screw you, it's an hour away from me. I'll probably make the trip when they get SuperNOVA.

I hope it has the Double Gun mode on the CS version. I can't afford 2 Playstation 2's, a Link Cable, 2 TVs and 2 copies of the game. And IMO it made it more fun for 2 people

I wouldn't want to have to divert my attention to two screens.
