I played the first couple worlds of New Super Mario Bros. today, and much to my surprise it's actually pretty good; a legitimate Mario game. ALL of the media surrounding the game showed the giant mushroom dealy Mario running through the stage destroying everything, so I assumed that there was lot more of that than there actually is. My only problem with the game is the soundtrack. It's not bad, it's just...I dunno. Something is off about it. Like how that one noise seems to be in every BGM in the game. It's funny how the Koopas move in time with the music though.

That was one poorly written paragraph. Oh wells.

I relived my Ps1 days.

I sat down and played all my ps1 games. The first three spyro games, worms world party, and the original medal of honor. haha, those Nazis, running around with their pixelated machine guns, their lips don't move when they talk.

Another thing, I played Super Mario Advance for the first time in years, and beat the final boss.

X-men legends 2 on pc. something about playing with Sabretooth despite me having the beaten the year old game countless times on the Xbox and PSP. oh, and it runs so fast and smooth even though my laptop is far from a ultragamingmachine...i love it.

Stepmania and Phantom Brave. I'm more or less done with Phantom Brave; I just need to decide if I want to go for a one hit kill on Pringer X and get the Remote/Divine Sword or not.

Now I'm playing Ninja Gaiden Black on xBox, trying to play the dumb hard VR Missions...

If I'm sick of getting killed countless times, then I'll go old-school and play Chrono Cross on the PS1 all over again... Just cleared it once few weeks ago, and wished to get all the characters... Which will take up 3 runs at the very least... -.-

As for PC, WebSudoku, Heroes 3 (v.4 sucked and v.5 is too ex) and Final Fantasy 8 (playing for the 4th time just to waste time). Ok, I admit, I'm geeky.

Just wonder whether I should get Final Fantasy 7 again... My friend asked me how to clear a certain section deep in the game, but I think I should show him how to pwn and "spoil" the game... -evil laugh-

Well both are good old classics, and don't require much processing power to run smoothly. In fact I'm playing D2 right now to kill time.

PS2: Resident Evil 4...just before the first boss fight. I'm surprised that I only died 4 times; this is my first RE game and I was just about scared shitless when my head was lobbed off by Mr. Salvador.

1, I didn't have any ammo, 2: my aim was quite terrible till I upgraded my shotgun, which wasn't too long ago. 3: I kept running out of ammo because of #2. Thus, about all four deaths should've been avoided. One thing I noticed that there's a lot of ammo, unlike the previous RE games. 4: I learned to run, not walk.

But I just love it. Especially the button mashing events. <3

DS: I tried playing Trauma Center again, but I just remembered how frustrated I got playing it. I think the one with the virus that was red and blue and you had to drain it so many times. And when there was two of them, well...gah, I just quit.

SSBM is a given for me. It's rare that I go a week without playing it. I played it like four times in the last 72 hours. I really hope SSBB refines the physics more so I don't feel like I'm being cheated when a move lags more than it seems like it should, and I die because of it. Stuff like that happens a LOT...

Update: Just got Valkyrie Profile for the PSP and am hooked on it!

Ummmm, also been dipping heavily into Secret of Mana for the SNES (emulation FTW!). I'm doing it the LOOOONG but slaughter happy way (extended leveling up periods, maxing out all the weapons for all the characters i.e. level 8 charging on all weapons, maxed out spells).

As soon as I get back home to my precious stock-pile of PS1 games, I'm gonna tear through Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy 7. But then again, I may also go into Parasite Eve again. That game never got enough credit. It was WONDERFUL, but no one seems to ever know what I'm talking about...

Parasite Eve. Loved that game's storyline. Though it's somewhat too easy when we modify the pistols into shotguns with explosive cyanide rounds.... And the Chrysler Building was seriously annoying. =.=

On the other hand, PE2's puzzles gave me a big headache... And I just hated the fact that they changed the controls into Resident Evil controls... Moving around was a pain.
