Wii Play

I'm surprised not to see a thread for this already.

This came out last Tuesday (I think), and it's a collection of ~10 multiplayer games, in the vein of Wii Sports but way more fun. There's a Duck Hunt-style game, a variety of games that involve all of the Miis on your system, as well as things like a relatively cool billiards game, table tennis, and Pong.

I personally just like all of the ways that they made the game use all of your Miis, and it made me laugh to be on the menu screen with the cute happy music playing and seeing Hitler walking by in the background.

It's free (or practically free) since it comes bundled with an extra remote, so if you're planning on getting another remote sometime, pick up the game+remote bundle. It's not the greatest thing in the world, but for practically free it's fun to stick in when you have friends over for half an hour.

One of my friends bought it earlier this week and has to drag herself away from it to come to class these days. Does it have online support like Clubhouse Games?

No, because most of the games are designed to be played multiplayer in person -- like, with the Duck Hunt game, you get extra points by stealing the other persons' targets so you kinda have to react to where they're aiming and steal the stuff from under their nose. I don't think you could do that with a reasonable amount of response time via the internet. :/

With Clubhouse Games, it's all sequential turn-taking, where with Wii Play (with the exception of Billiards) it's all simultaneous multiplayer.

Well I needed a 2nd remote so I thought I'd give it a try, I mean, it's only a fiver extra. And what a good pack it is fir a fiver! I have had it for a while now and my family are stil not bored. My dad is always begging to play Billiards and Table Tennis.

My favourite though has to be Find Mii. I've heard a lot of bad reviews about the pack, especially this game, but it's surprisingly a lot of fun! And it's nice to know that the Miis can be used in more ways that just Wii Sports. I hope they expand the Mii idea furthur into more games. Who could beat a mode in SSB:B where you ARE the character taking on Link or Samus?!

I prefer the can shooting game in WarioWare Smooth Moves over the shooting gallery in Wii Play.
