Wii/Xbox 360

I have the opportunity to trade my Wii, Zelda, and Monkey Ball for a X360 Premium Edition, 2 controllers, 2 headsets, Saints Row, Gears of War, and Dead Rising. Between those, Halo 2, and Oblivion I see little reason to really keep my Wii right now. Zelda was fun for awhile, but it got old. Monkey Ball is so-so. I don't really see anything amazing coming out for the next 6 months or so; Smash Bros Brawl will be great but that'll likely be holiday time.

Any suggestions either way?

I would do the trade. Since there are PS3 "exclusives" that will be heading to the 360 in the future, I'm definitely wanting to pick one up. Wii was fun and all, but it's lacking in new, original stuff.

You could always...keep it instead of being a spaz and selling a brand-new console at the first sign of boredom. I like how people talk like the Wii will only exist until summer and that there's literally nothing there. No patience.

Though, in terms of sheer money that you'd be making there, I'd actually say go for the deal just off the monetary value. $350 < $700 (my estimate)

That, or it'd probably be a good idea to wait a bit to see if Microsoft announces some sort of price cut/releases the new model that's been talked about.

What Eggman said. Unless all of that 360 stuff is badly damaged or something you'd be the one benefiting from the trade.

I'd say go for it since you would actually be playing the 360 instead of letting your Wii just sit there until you find a game to be enjoyable again. Also for the obvious reason of more replay out of the 360 with online multiplayer.

Get the 360. The library is very, very strong, and if you're not using the Wii then there's not a whole lot of point in keeping it! The only thing that would give me hesitation is if you're not planning on getting Live Gold, since that's really important to the whole thing. If you are, though, go for it.

Also Crackdown is out and that's a great reason to get one asap

Trade, have fun now, buy a Wii if you want to when they're common again. By the time you want to play the Wii again you should easily be able to find the system in stores.
