Story is very cool. It pulls you in.
Save feature? Its good, but I often forget to save.
Battles? I really dont like looking at two screens at once. I cant always get certain psycs to work when I want, (Wether im looking at the bottom screen or not, because I have to pretty much randomly scratch while looking at the top screen to input specific arrow combinations) and the girl gets hit before I can finish her comboe, especially with the scarf equipt.
Bosses? So far, they are all re colors of other monsters in the game. Granted, they look cool, but its a step back. Recoloring average monsters for bosses (and in some cases giving them an extra move or two) Isnt acceptable anymore.
You (or at least me) just cant help but hate the main character.
The bad guy who relates everything to food? Stupid IMO.
a 9 page manual on every single screen in the game for the first episode? Boring.
A LOT of dialog for how much you accually play.
I think the games good, has alot of new mechanics (Maybe too many since it has to explain them all, the first few hours of the game is reading.), Great story with all very unique, even if sometimes cliche, characters. It progresses very slowly, but its suspensfull. Music gets very boring and repetitive, and I personally didnt like it to much the first time I heard it.
I know its kinda scattered, but thats what I think. Im still glad I bought it, but there are some obvious flaws that seem to get overlooked while this game is getting its "Hand held game of the month" awards, which it may or may not deserve, but there cant be many other good hand held games released recently, or Game Informer is sucking squares cock again.

Everything gets a lot better pretty quickly; the first segment is almost all introduction, zero challenge. The "bosses" in question get demoted to regular monsters soon afterward; you'll see them in random fights. Actual bosses pop up soon enough and you don't get that kind of silliness again.
At the stage of the game you're in now, you haven't really seen any of the cool points. Wait until you unlock Hard, it makes the game a lot more fun.

Oh, and that was funny.

Setting it to Hard, well, makes it harder, yeah. It forces you to play more intelligently and develop combos.
The game has a few infinite loops that totally slaughter some bosses later on. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing, but it makes getting rare drops easy.

The soundtrack is amazing, the battle system is as complex as you want it to be, the battles themselves as hard as you want them to be, a very deep attack/skill system, an excellent stat/equipment system, and great artistic style/graphics.

And for the record, Kingdom Hearts was made before the merger. | |

I think it was called. Maybe I might buy a DS then.
