Xbox 360 Controller Problem I'm not sure if any of you have heard of this before, but immediately when I put a battery in my wireless 360 controller, all 4 lights turn on and stay on. When I try to bind it to my console, it keeps on flashing and does nothing.
So far I've tried:
1) Re-syncing the controller with the console (using the button on the top of the controller and on the console)
2) Changing the batteries.
3) Checking to see if there are any metallic objects blocking the wireless signal.
4) Checking to see if there is anything in the room that operates at the same frequency as the controller.
*note: the 4 lights appear even if I move the xbox or the controller out of the room so I doubt that it is either of these)
5) Emailing tech support. They told me to do the things I already did.
The controller is the one that came with my Xbox (purchased December 2006), and I have used the chatpad and microphone peripherals with it. I have probably dropped the controller a few times, but I was not even playing when it decided to crap out.
I'm guessing the wireless emitter within the controller crapped out, but is there a simple solution to this? Or am I fucked?
