Xbox mod question...

Lets just go ahead and make it known now. I don't know how BS7.0 feels about console mod threads so if this is a no no to post feel free to take it down.

My TV broke in a way that prevents me from using my XB on it. After a while I just kinda used it as a CD player anyway which brings me to my question.

I have a bunch of music on my XB that I had before my comp got eraced and I want to get it off my XB's HDD. How can this be done? Is it a case of taking the HDD out and putting it in another comp and just taking the files off it? Are they in some alien format? Are there any programs I'll need? Help?

I have no idea how to actually do this, but maybe you could FTP onto the console and get the files you want that way. Check around for some tutorials on how to actually do it.
