The xbox 360 laptop is the same thing as an xbox 360. The guy basically just stuffed the insides of the 360 into a different case.

I would think that would be pretty obvious but whatever.

but still, it's amazing how he did that. The laptop is the bomb, seriously. It's crazy stuffing that hardware from an XBOX360 to a laptop.

Haha, oh wow. It's a homebrew DIY project the dude made, you're not going to see it in stores.

Anyways, That's quite the feat to condense the entire 360 into a slightly-larger than laptop size without it burning your lap while playing it. Plus it just looks totally badass.

Hmm, problem. For a setup like that, you'd need an LCD screen.

LCD screens = ms lag = OH GOD ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAY MUSIC GAMES.

I can see it done easily though, especially using a slim ps2.

BAHH!! Good quality LCD screens are top notch now! (I hope you were joking...)

But a PS2 laptop sounds entirely possible.... but the only problem will be the output not being nearly as high resolution as the LCD screen. (most laptop screens are like what, 1280 x 768? So that around like 720p or so resolution?)

You're kidding right? I have -yet- to find a LCD screen that has such a low responce time that I can play beatmania IIDX on it. I can still notice lag on 8ms LCDs, and most LCDs make it out to the market with atleast 14ms or so of lag.

QFT. LCDs are still not even close to CRTs in lack of lagging or blurring. Which is fine with me because arcade games still use the bulky CRTs.

LCDs would be fine for most games but games like IIDX where accuracy and ensuring there is no lag is just not possible to do.

even 8-14ms response time is gonna screw you in music games, tier2, unless scores matters not to you.

But like you said, it can be done, but i sure as hell wouldn't try playing music games on it.
