Default Your Favorite Super Mario Game is...

For me, it'd be a close race between Super Mario RPG and Super Mario World. RPG gets the edge for its tidbits of humor.

For me:

-Super Mario Bros & Lost Levels: Yeah, they're still fun to play. And Lost Levels raped my ass a lot of times merciless. Beating it was satisfactory. Do you wanna know how much I love these games? I beat Super Mario DX for GBC and I didn't complain about the scroll

-Super Mario 3: The furr... ERH!... Tanuki suit, being able to use the Hammer Bros' armor and hammers, THE AMAZINGLY SUPERIOR KURIBOH'S SHOE. How can you NOT love this game? Oh, and also the Bowser's sons are the most brilliant bosses in Mario games.

-Super Mario 64: I can still play it, and it still makes me smile *dances with the rythm of Metal Mario's song* And I don't care about how unstable the camera was.

Yoshi's Island, Super Mario World and Super Mario 64 are the ultimate triple threat.

i thought that Super Mario Bros. 3 was the greatest followed by New Super Mario Brothers cuz they took that waaaaaaaaaaay old school. Super Mario World was also a great game

He totally asked which one was your favorite, not for you to list like 20 and say that they are your favorites. I mean that's totally ruining the purpose of the thread.

p.s. SMB3

8 bit: SMB3. SMB was my first video game ever and its always had a special place with me, but just the fact that you go from one level right into another one got boring really quickly. SMB3 gave the ability to choose your own path throughout the Mushroom Kingdom.

16 bit: Super Mario World. The game was like SMB3, you could choose your own path, and at the same time it wasn't an RPG like Mario RPG. I don't really thing Mario belongs in an RPG...even though I did like Mario RPG, that genre doesn't really fit very well =/

Don't even get me started on 64 bit games. XD

Super Mario 4 makes your statement false.
