What are your gaming sites? I'm not really up to looking up some to compliment my Google Reader so this is actually quite the request thread. :d News sites preferred.

Going to Digg for gaming news is like going to Fark for news on politics.

As for me, I typically don't go to any sites at all unless I'm looking for a review of something -- generally all of the "important" news gets posted at one of the forums I frequent anyhow.

you guys do bring up good points. i've never seen people who suck steve job's dick as much as the people on digg do. i still can't believe that the iphone got 10000+ diggs. i don't really read it for the gaming news. i just read what's there, and if there is gaming news, i'll read it.

I like www.insertcredit.com .

They are more focused on obscure news that would never make headlines on ign or other such websites. I hate using the term "hardcore" to describe it, but I think it fits. For instance, their latest headline focuses on a homebrew project that made a datalink for the Sega Saturn.

Actually correction, its review of Armored Core 4 from Japan. You'll see they have a very different writting style than any of the major websites.

I agree, www.insertcredit.com has really good reads.

Other than that, www.ign.com and www.1up.com usually keep me up to date.

I stopped posting there since they started editing the words "fuck" and "cunt", but I still read the site - it's inescapable.

The forum is host to an astounding amount of drama, and some of the Nintendo fans there surpass NoA employees in company loyalty; as a result, a grand majority of the posts are bullshit. However, if there is anything remotely newsworthy in relation to videogames that comes out, NeoGAF is usually the very first place to report it.

I only visit Orochinagi, Shoryuken, Dust Loop and Cyberfanatix for gaming news... specially because I mainly focus on fighting games.

For general gaming news, I simply check in random mexican VG forums :3
