Hey guys.
I would like to propose a contest for all users who like singing to bemani tunes
The Idea is simple, for this event to be big we need the following:
-2 or 3 people to select the songs for the contestants and review them once submited.
-sound editors to make instrumental tracks of bemani songs (remove vocals).
-2 people to count votes.
-1 person to play the role of the host and deliver results each week.
-Contestants :P
The concept is simple:
Each week the "judges" will secretly assing a bemani oriented song along with the instrumental to that song to each contestant for them to submit by a certain period of time. The songs are uploaded for all users to download and listen to, "judges" review all entries then voting begins on private polls or via PM, the host then announces the results by the end of the week and a contestant is eliminated each week until there's a winner.
American idol style per say.
It would be really cool is this became a reality.
I can remove vocals from songs using goldwave but they lose base and require aditional twicking so that's why i think sound editors would be needed.
You don't have to be a good singer, just have fun with it.
So if anyone would like to jump on board this project post here and either submit more ideas or apply to participate in the contest.
