I would suggest dropping the contrast on your faked scanlines a little bit, because it's clashing with the shadow of the text a bit and making it look too aliased.

I just finished a new vector... I don't know where the idea came from, but I like how it turned out. Right now I"m learning how to draw anatomy better. Its kind of big, so I'll just link it.

Well, I like to make Stepmania banners and backgrounds for songs I like. I'm not sure if I'll make any steps or anything though, my stamina and confidence about such is very low. Anyway, here's the banner and background for Hidenori Shoji's ZEN (Aeropolis), commonly heard in F-Zero GX/AX.

For the past nine years, I've been playing around with MSPaint. A lot of my old stuff is lost in my old computer which's been long gone. Anyway, here're some of the better stuff I've done in the past two to three years or so. Mouse-only, because I don't have the money for a tablet.

Great job with MSpaint - it's not exactly the most widely-used pallete, but you've done some impressive work. I love the Star Fox one, that's pretty awesome.
