Yeah, I stopped doing that XD. In fact, even back then I knew it was really cheap. I paint in my backgrounds now

. Again, it was a spur-of-the-moment thing for an online "Kill Sephiroth" contest.

Panda's a WIP, and it's not in my DA gallery yet.

I use Photoshop to paint since I'm too dimwitted and untrained in traditional media to take advantage of Painter's realistic strokes. Things don't go where I want them to XD.

Well not much original per say here, I've got this sig idea to kick around. To make up for lack of actual drawing ability, I took some pieces of different manga and comics and strung them together plot-wise via original text. To avoid confusion over which character is which because of them being represented by a variety of different images, they're given a unique border color for panels dealing with them. So far, there's little to show of the concept other than this one here, but I believe it shows some promise.

Wow, Mn XenX, that last one is coming along so far, except the eyes are oddly proportioned. Your understanding of highlights and the overall sense of balance and symmetry in the piece makes me surprised that you let the eyes go. Just fix that and you've got it in the bag, friend.

I try to understand. I make some mistakes since I work my artwork Hastely and I don't want to waste my spare time since my eyes are starting to wear off because I tired myself overnight (Akira told me wear me big glasses but I prepare medium I think you know that guy)

To both of you, thank you very much!

This image has won me 1st place along with a 3-month subscription to deviantART. So, I feel pretty proud of it now.

Well, to explain what was really going on in it, the contest called for a paragraph to support your entry. It should be written like a story, so I chose Des-ROW's point of view. (somewhat similar to my CRADLE story, which I originally had this image concept saved for for) It was heavily inspired by the English translation of "Ajisai no Hana" from Pop'n Music 13 and an intended pun on the idiom, "turning over a new leaf". Plus, I'm always a bit sad in the autumn, as school starts as well as frustrations. Yet, the weather varies from the transition of summer into fall, and the colors always look so pretty then. Maybe, that cleared some things up.
